“A divided Association cannot serve a unified profession.
A United ZMA is not a dream — it is a decision.”

For too long, our strength as doctors has been weakened by silence, division, and exclusion. The Zambia Medical Association was not built for factions or top-down decrees — it was built for doctors, by doctors, to serve doctors.

As your former Secretary General, I witnessed the power of what we can achieve when we work together. Whether it was during the darkest days of the COVID-19 pandemic or in fighting for policy reforms, our greatest victories came when we stood as one voice — not scattered whispers.

A United ZMA means returning to consultation. It means respecting constitutional processes. It means creating space for every intern, every senior consultant, every rural doctor, and every specialist to participate meaningfully in shaping the direction of our profession.

This campaign is not about personalities. It is about restoring ZMA to its rightful place — as a united, credible, and member-led institution that is respected nationally and globally.

Let us come together not because we agree on everything — but because we agree that unity is our only path to progress.

Together, we lead. Together, we rise. Together, we rebuild the ZMA we believe in.

A United ZMA
